I like the broken cables. I think they look like they'd be just enough of a challenge to make....

I just "like" the web socks. They were the pair that caught my eye. I think it is the pattern.
My second choice would be the broken cables. I think any of them would be nice.

I like the broken cables! Interesting without being too difficult to do while watching TV or talking, and they look good too.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the web socks and the broken cable socks are too busy. I like the others better.

The PGR's are probably wonderful, but they don't LOOK special...
The pair of socks was ... well.. plain too, though generous.
The other two ... I just liked em.. but there were interesting without being overy fussy... and would make me fees speciailer

I am torn between the broken cable and the web socks, can I vote twice?
I love the pattern on the broken cable socks, but I personally HATE socks that don't hug my legs and are loose and baggy.
The web socks have a beautiful pattern.
What kind of yarn are you planning to use with this? That would tend to influence my decision more than any other factor... Verigated would get Broken cable, Solid would get web socks...
Are we confused yet? I am ;-)

I've never made the Broken Cable Rib socks, but I do like them. Just a question as an aside, how did you get the Pollhost poll to show up in Blogger? When I tried to do that a couple of weeks ago, I kept getting HTML errors, of which I didn't understand.

I voted for the Web Socks, but only if you're using a solid color yarn--gotta show that pattern. If you're looking at a patterned yarn, then I would go with the pyr dream socks.

I'm a plain sock kinda gal, so I'd go for either the PGR socks or the pair of socks. I've made a bazillion PGR socks already, so I would probably choose the pair of socks, which are a little more interesting. Of course it depends on how adventurous your pal is.

I liked both the web and the broken cables, but I voted for the web, because they looked the most interesting. :)
I also agree with laurie though, and would use solid color or only very slightly varigated (different tones of the same color?)

I tried the Dream socks and didn't like the pattern--it's hard to see where you're supposed to turn your short rows, and there are some k3tog's that make a bump... who wants a bump in a sock? The web socks are intriguing.
